How to compare protein prices
Do not look only at the tub price. Divide the price by the kilograms in the pack to get the price per kg. Then check the label for protein per serving, because a cheaper tub can give less protein per scoop.
Also check the serving count. A 2 kg tub that gives many servings costs less per shake than a small one.
Whey, blends and hydrolysed whey
Whey is the common choice for most people. Blends can cost less. Hydrolysed whey is processed to digest faster and usually costs more. The best one is the one that fits your budget, tastes good enough to take every day, and comes from a seller you trust.
How much protein do you need
Many active adults aim for about 1.4 to 2.0 g of protein per kg of body weight a day, from food and shakes together. A shake adds to your meals and does not replace them. If you eat enough protein from dal, eggs, paneer, soya and meat, you may need less powder.
